Sheila is Signet’s President & COO and our resident admissions and test prep expert. She has been preparing students for the SAT, ACT, and GRE for over ten years in both one-on-one and in classroom settings. Sheila holds both a BA and an MA from Harvard University and holds two PhDs from Indiana University.

Joanna is one of Signet’s top admissions consultants. with decades of experience in the college admissions and standardized testing space. She was an admissions interviewer and application reader at Georgetown University and then as an independent admissions consultant in the DC area. She is a current member of the Board of Governors at Georgetown, and spent nearly a decade working at the Graduate Management Admissions Council. Joanna received her Bachelor’s degree in Language & Linguistics and Sociology from Georgetown University.

Molly has worked with Signet since 2011, and in undergraduate admissions at the University of Pennsylvania, Case Western Reserve University, and Oberlin College. She has read and reviewed approximately 6,700 college applications from across the United States. She has a BA in Psychology from Gettysburg College and an MEd in higher education administration from Penn State University.

With two decades of experience working in universities, January has guided over 1,000 students from the admissions process through to college graduation. She specializes in college admissions consulting, and worked at the University of Pennsylvania for nearly 20 years. She graduated from Gettysburg College with a BA in Political Science and Psychology and holds a Master of Education from the University of Pennsylvania.

Holly has tutored for over a decade, specializes in undergraduate and graduate admissions, and helps teens navigate application essays, program selection, and testing. She is an expert coach and test prep tutor. She worked as a tenure track professor at the University of Maine, serving as a MA/PhD advisor and on the graduate admissions committee. She received her BA in Russian from Bowdoin College and her PhD in Comparative Literature and American Studies from Indiana University.

She worked as a Graduate Writing Consultant at Tufts and as a Peer Academic Coach at WPI. She loves research and teaching, and has many years of tutoring experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science with High Distinction from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and a Master’s of Science and Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from Tufts University.

Andy has tutored and taught for over a decade, and specializes in test prep, coaching, and humanities. He received his BA in Music from Princeton University and his PhD in Music Theory from Harvard. He loves decoding tests, especially grammar sections, with students. He has taught at Harvard for 10 years as Lecturer, Head Teaching Fellow, Independent Study Advisor, and Summer School Instructor. He has also been a Lecturer at Boston College and Brandeis.

Simona has over 20 years of teaching experience, and specializes in English (mostly honors and AP courses), with a focus on encouraging students to read and write with joy and enthusiasm (and lots and lots of rigor). She received her BA in English and Italian from UC Berkeley, MA and MS in Education from Columbia and Pace, and her Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership, National Board Certification for Teachers.
